Deutsche Evangelische Kindergarten Oberschule Kairo

Im Kindergarten und der Vorschule werden ca. 140 Kinder verschiedener Nationalitäten in sechs integrierten Altersgruppen (4-5 Jahre und 5-6 Jahre) von sechs Erzieherinnen (plus sechs Helferinnen) ausschließlich in deutscher Sprache betreut. Zwei Grundschullehrerinnen pro Gruppe erteilen täglich -pro Gruppe - je eine Unterrichtsstunde in Deutsch als Fremdsprache für Kinder, deren Muttersprache nicht Deutsch ist.

Der Kindergarten und die Vorschule vermitteln den Kindern das Erleben ihrer sozialen Persönlichkeit und die ersten Kontakte mit Menschen eines anderen Kulturkreises und einer anderen Sprache. Dies eröffnet den Kindern in der Gruppe Erfahrungsmöglichkeiten, die zur Entfaltung einer allseitig gebildeten und offenen Persönlichkeit beitragen.
