For the first time in History, Egypt National Football Team reached the ninth rank in FIFA’s world football ranking!!!! the achievement puts Egypt on the top of African and Arab national teams and also the top of glowing international teams like Italy and France.

The Egyptian stepped up from the tenth rank which was the most rank the Egyptian team was able to reach in the official qualification for the world football rankings.

By becoming the ninth rank, Egypt now is at the top of the African Teams and after it, comes the Ghana Team; ranks twenty three and at the top of the Arab Teams and after it comes Algeria Team; ranks thirty three.

The first five African teams are:

1. Egypt; rank 9
2. Ghana; rank 23
3. Côte d’Ivoire; rank 26
4. Nigeria; rank 30
5. Algeria; rank 33

The first five Arab teams are:

1. Egypt; rank 9
2. Algeria; rank 33
3. Saudi Arabia; rank 68
4. Bahrain; rank 69
5. Oman; rank 81
